Kate Crane – Saturday 16th May 2020 – Plastic Fantastic

Duralar by Grafix is a fabulous acetate alternative and takes painting on plastic
to a whole new level.
Traditionally painting on plastic has been problematic but this alternative,
specially designed to take wet media makes painting on plastic a dream!
Acrylics, oil pastels, stamps, pencils, and even watercolours sit beautifully on
this substrate and not only that, it’s heat resistant which means you can even
emboss it.
It’s lack of absorbency makes it super-easy to paint and create colourful
effects. Lightweight and transparent means it’s perfect to layer in your art
journals or as panels on greetings cards.
Please bring: white pen, coloured pencils, watercolours, Distress Crayons (or
similar – oil pastels) if you have them.
